About Elixir9

A Rhode Island native, Elizabeth studied design at Carnegie Mellon University and earned her BFA in Industrial Design. She fell in love with model-making and furniture construction, happily spending countless hours in the shop perfecting the tiny details of her product models.
After moving to San Francisco in 2003, Elizabeth built a career in graphic design, applying her attention to detail to print layouts for top clients. Yet she remained ever-drawn to the joy and satisfaction of crafting with her hands. One night she stumbled upon a TV show demonstrating how to fuse fine silver. She immediately realized that metalsmithing of jewelry was her true calling—all the fun of model-making but wearable!
Elizabeth left the graphic design world in 2008 to focus on taking her hobby to the next level. She studied under master goldsmith Alan Revere at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts and received the technical training she needed to craft her line skillfully. She was then accepted into and completed the 60-hour Simple Steps business development course through the Women’s Initiative for Self-Employment.
With her calipers in one hand and her business plan in the other, Elizabeth is ready to help women across the world feel beautiful and confident by wearing Elixir9 jewelry.
